"The launch of the Blackfen TRADER freesheet 

thirty two years ago gave the opportunity for two fervent gigging friends to cut their teeth in music journalism, reviewing local gigs in the monthly ‘Caught Live’ column. 

Since that non-internet era, that continued love of live music, and the many friends they had made over the years, has metamorphosed into a growing musical appreciation network: The Wrinkly Rockers Club (WRC). 

Indeed, since the launch of that first website in 2010, a remarkable worldwide and deep club has since blossomed, with gig get-togethers/listings, a free membership scheme with various benefits, gig/CD reviews, interviews, podcasts, awards, videos, merchandise, plus our very first annual Charity gig, Wrinklystock, in 2012. 

The previous website did us proud over five years, but it was time for something fresh, and we hope that you enjoy your 'WRC' experience on our new look, faster and easier to navigate platform."
