Following the release last September of his latest album, 'Destination Unknown', via Marshall Records, Laurence Jones's band, consisting of Bennett Holland on Hammond, keys and synth, Jack Alexander Timmis on bass guitar and Samuel Jenkins on drums, are back on the road this month, and exactly five years ago today, we interviewed Laurence before his soundcheck at London's much missed Borderline, which is today's Podcast Of The Day. With the album clocking in at forty one minutes, the Blues Rock guitarist and singer-songwriter packs an effortless Rock punch, whilst also not forgetting his Blues heritage, so make sure you catch him this year when he also headlines the Leeds Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival at the Brudenell Social Club on Sunday 26th February, with support from The Ryk Mead Band, Stephen Dale Petit, Catfish, Crow Black Chicken and Xander And The Peace Pirates.
